About

The Aloe albiflora is a small succulent naive to southern Madagascar, recognized for its narrow leaves and delicate white flowers. This species is classified as critically endangered and has an extremely restricted natural range, making it particularly vulnerable to habitat loss and other environmental pressures.

Despite this species beautiful and seemingly delicate appearance, very little is known about its remaining wild populations. Aloe albiflora is protected under CITES, reflecting concerns surrounding the conservation of rare aloe species.

Protecting this plant teams preserving a small but irreplaceable part of Madagascar’s remarkable plant diversity and ensuring that species found in such limited habitats are not lost before they can be fully understood.
